Lake house check in and out

When entering property disable the alarm system. It is located in the utility closet (2nd door from left of entrance) Put your unique code on the key pad and enter โdisarmโ in to disable alarm.
When leaving and you want to lock the main door, after you exit and close door hit the โlockโ symbol on the key pad and it will lock the deadbolt. Donโt lock the handle.
Fire extinguishers located at top of basement stairs indoors and out side in the garage interior next to the entrance door off the deck.
Make sure the flue/ damper is open (pulled out) when starting a wood burning fire or fire is present in the fireplace.
Make sure our door lights off of deck and the side entrance are turned off unless needed. They are very bright and the neighbors complain if they are on.
Remove any perishable items from the refrigerator.
Extra paper towels and toilet paper are in utility closet.
When leaving for extended periods of time: Please set alarm and lock ONLY the key pad NOT THE HANDLE.

When leaving make sure Thermostats are set at:
SUMMER 80
WINTER: 60
Make sure fireplace flue/ damper is closed (pushed in)
All trash removed from indoors and into outside receptacles and move those receptacles to the end of the driveway for pick up.
Unplug the BBQ smoker grill if it was used.
Remove all used bedding and towels and put them in basement. Please start a load of the wash for ease of cleanup of the property.
All dishes into the dishwasher and run.
Coffee pot off, cleaned out and unplugged
Activate alarm and ONLY USE KEY PAD TO LOCKโ DO NOT LOCK THE HANDLE.

About
Check In:
Alarm code will be sent to you with your reservation.
Alarm is located in the closet between the two bedrooms on main level. The alarm will need to be disarmed within a minute of entering.
Please lock up and set the alarm anytime you leave the property.
Send Shawna a picture if you see any damage to the property upon arriving. (and immediately if damage occurs during your stay).
Check out:
The kitchen must be free of food mess, place dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
Please remove all perishable food from the refrigerator and put all garbage in the outdoor disposal bins in the garage. Take bins to the edge of the landscaping where it meets the road.
Remove all bedding and leave it in the room for all beds that have been used and leave on the floor.
Place used towels in the showers.
Lock up and set the alarm.
